I'd be sad, too, if my bird came out of my chest. This is actually really weird, because I've been wanting to do a painting about a bird living in my chest for a long time. When I'm leaning up against something, I can feel my heart, and it feels just like all the birds I've ever picked up. They feel like...life incarnate. Pure life. Does that make sense at all?! :D I see the similarity!
