Here’s an update on my running. I’ve been progressing, if slowly. I’m up to 2.25 miles at a go now, no walking.
My speed varied on this run because i was trying to go faster. There’s one big gradual hill on our route, so that prevents me from going as fast as i could on even ground. I keep trying to tell myself that distance is the objective right now, not speed, but i just end up striving for both and sometimes tiring myself out way too quickly. Nathan continues to be my bodyguard and cheerleader on my runs.

I would like to correct you. My main reasons for running with you are to catch you cottonwood seeds and kick dandelions onto your path

Way to go! It’s so hard to focus on just distance or just speed, but you’re getting there!
