If you want your basil to keep producing nice big tender leaves that you can eat, you need to pinch those flowers and buds off the tops of the plants

Howdy. Just a quick clue. When your basil “blossoms”, it is actually going to seed. You need to cut that crap off straight away or no more basil leaves. You may have figured that out by now. Good Luck.

You can’t tell from the photos, but it’s actually a particular shade of light greenish gray that matches the terrace PERFECTLY, thankyouverymuch.
